Genre ideas

We have been thinking of different type of genres that we could do for our main task. So far we have come up with a couple of ideas which are horror, action and comedy.

As a group we want to try and do an action film which will include a car chase. The only problem with it is that it will be difficult to film and then edit together and keep the continuity. We feel that it would be the most interesting and exciting genre to try out. We would use our mates cars as it would be easier.

Types of films that have used car chases are: The fast and the furious, Dukes of Hazard, James Bond, Eagle Eye and Stormbreaker. We have looked at these films and tried to see how the produce an authentic car chase that looks real and keeps the audience interested and intrigued.

We have experience in the horror genre because we have already made a horror film in year 12 which went well and everyone we spoke to seem to enjoy it. But as a group we feel that we want to try something different and that's why our preferred option is to do the Action/Car chase.
